HouseCurve is a versatile tool for audio systems, offering a wide range of functions that allow you to fine-tune your sound. With HouseCurve, you can easily perform room correction, adjust equalizers, set subwoofer phase, choose crossovers, and more.
Key Features:
- Sine sweep measurements
- Display of magnitude, phase, and group delay
- Comparison of measurements to a target curve
- Creation and editing of target curves
- Generation of room correction filters (PEQ or FIR)
- Compatibility with Roon, Volumio, miniDSP, EqualizerAPO, CamillaDSP, and more
- Average and history display modes
- Ability to save and undo measurements
- Compatibility with both built-in and external microphones
- Connection options via AirPlay, Bluetooth, headphone jack (analog), or external sweeps
HouseCurve measures the in-room frequency response by analyzing the audio system's playback of a sine sweep. The measurements are then displayed in relation to a target curve, allowing you to easily identify areas that require adjustment. By taking multiple measurements and making small changes over time, you can manually tune your system to match the target curve. In addition, if your audio system has a parametric equalizer or convolution engine, HouseCurve can automatically generate the necessary filter settings to achieve the desired curve.
Whether you need to fine-tune your home or car audio system by performing system equalization and room correction or adjusting subwoofer time alignment and speaker placement, HouseCurve is an invaluable tool. It is worth noting that HouseCurve can produce acceptable results using the built-in iPhone/iPad microphone. However, for higher accuracy, we recommend using calibrated external microphones.
The free version of HouseCurve allows you to measure your audio system and display a magnitude plot (also known as "frequency response"). For additional features such as room correction filter generation, advanced measurement tools, and target curve editing, you can unlock these options through in-app purchases.
